Hello SIA

This time things look a little different and our little island in Texas is preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
Prayers and intentions are most welcome.

On another great note, theshiftmovie.com is getting heavily promoted by many people....check it out.

Let's make it happen.
We can do it.
We have the power.
We have the wisdom.
We have what it takes to turn our world around.
To right what is wrong. Heal what is hurt. Feed who is hungry. Dissolve storms before they hit.

In bright light, Michelle

Better to board up too soon; leave too soon and risk looking foolish for a day, than to try to leave too late and look foolish forever.. ;=)

Heavy seas before the storm may make leaving and entering harbours impossible. Planes may leave a bit later if they are well maintained. Texans are good pilots.

Rain will be very heavy too, in some places. Do you need to help out the drainage?

Jane and all

yes, we are boarding up, shoring, up and when we have more information tomorrow, decide whether to leave the island or not...as you know a lot can happen in a 24 hour period. It is just odd, because there is not a lot to do (yet) however, tons to do if/when we need to leave.

I have a close watch on the weather and I am praying every time I see a weather report. Do you have family on the Island? You mentioned a significant other, I know I will feel a lot better knowing you are with someone. Are you going to evacuate the Island? Are many people evacuating? I lived on top of a mountain and had to evacuate 3 times due to fires. There wasn't any fire that came close to my property but I was never sorry that I left. I was able to help those who were not so fortunate.

Please keep us posted as long as you have the facilities to do so. I am thinking positive and expect to have continuous reports from you. I have grown very fond of you, my Island Light! As you always say, Shine On. Love and Light.
As always
Jane

so far today, it's like any other day...calm before the storm, we may get lucky, but other parts of the Texas coast may not. continued light will dissipate the destruction.
