On this special day of Unity Day of World Prayer and in honor of all the storms of life (fires, tsuanmis, hurricanes, floods, etc)

I submit to you from Marianne W's Illuminata book this prayer for our world:

Please bless and protect this sacred jewel,
our vulnerable planet so besieged.
May the rivers and the oceans and the sky and the land
All be repaired, somehow, dear Lord

May the barbarism end, which threatens to destroy our priceless treasure.

For surely the Earth has been our home,
the home of our parents unto all generations.

For the sake of our children, Lord,
save this Earth.

Place in all minds a great awe before her mysteries.

Shield her and heal her wounds,
restore her to her former glory.

Save her, Lord, from us. Amen

May I invite you to say this prayer out loud wherever you are?

In light, Michelle

Ike is headed North, so we have friends coming in from Houston...which I hear is quite a mess getting out of town....let's look at MW's prayer.....what I see is that
if we are all one, when we heal ourselves, that positive energy flows into the earth upon which we live, that is why it is so important for us to do what we can do in our corner of the Universe.

My comments and blogs are giving these sentiments. I always pray that I am able to weather my storms and it sounds like you have a handful ahead of you. I have been tracking Ike and even visualized it turning and hopefully slowing or dissipating. I always am reminded of the old Norwegian Prayer. It is a prayer that comes from those who go to the sea in ships. It says: "Dear God be with me, the sea is so big and my boat is so small." In the world today there is an ocean full of small boats in the form of all the individuals who are praying similar prayers for everyone's safety and strength. Much love is with you and all who are facing the next few days. Thank you for keeping us informed. Small boats of love are powerful. Look what they did at Dunkirk. Love and Light,
As always,
Jane
