Deepening storm offshore Washington: landfall Manhattan, Wall Street.

This storm needs defining and categorizing: it seems to be a tropical storm at the moment; driven by household debt and steered by regulations from the capital that keep it on a wobbly course of uncertain speed towards Wall Street.

The deepening depression promises to wash Washington clean of much bickering as floods clear everyone out of their homes and offices towards higher land. As the depression widens to include industrial and business loans of all kinds it may intensify to categories as yet undefined: from 6 to 14 or 15.

This power may have the upside of reducing Wall Street to rubble and depositing it off the continental shelf, while the population retreat to higher parts of the country and help each other out as they always do in the face of disaster. Now where do we direct our meditation and intention ?

I would start with Van Jones vision of New Green Collar Industries: that would diminish the force of the storm before landfall; a little, anyway. The co-operation needed to design and build those new industries; the opportunities to reduce pollution of all kinds in the new cities and communities would be making the best of a bad category 10 hurricane.

A category 10 or more storm will grow to cover the whole continent and flood all of us out of our homes and businesses. I would encourage all of us to work on future intention for rebuilding ~ Everything...!

How do you express that in IONS SIA language...?

Thank you for reading.

When I lived in an area subject to tropical storms, Barbara, I learned to just watch them and to remain in safe territory. To batten down; have lights; water; dried food and camp cooking gear available.

Same for the economic storms we are experiencing. One of the political candidates deals with the situation by deliberately slipping gears while describing it. The only answer is to be prepared for disaster, then it does not hurt so much. It does sharpen the senses, though. Reading about storms as they arrive is one thing that does not work out well at all. Sharing experience with older residents and careful preparation does work.

One of the first reactions I see is the standard old confrontation: Democrats: "We Will Not Simply Hand Over A $700 Billion Blank Check To Wall St"

***UPDATE*** 11:11PM Democrats have begun to push back...

A fair enough traditional reaction; but: what about a constructive design forward. Does that really have to wait till the harsh arguments have died away, if they ever do ? Can we focus positive intentions onto this portion of the storm ? Something like: "Let's guarantee rents and morgtage payments of no more than 30% of family income; taxes of no more than a fair sliding scale... until this Trillion $ scandal has been resolved." That would be a fair beginning to consultations with Wall St over their bail out.

Canadians care very much, too, because our elections and policies parallel much of yours; much of the world cares a lot about how this storm is handled. If it does just Melt Down our economics, it may be the best way to start out cleaning up pollution. It is an incredible opportunity for green business because while our politicians can regulate: they cannot start new industries.

While Wall St & Congress struggle with the immensity of their problems they are probably not particularly well aware of solutions being worked out by combinations of inspiration; creative technology and enlightened government on the Atlantic seaboard.

It is as though a green tech start-up from Nova Scotia provided the technology for a Massachusetts company to build steel snakes to extract power from Georgia and Carolinas waves: day and night, 365 1/4 days a year.

Business, jobs, energy all produced within N America by copying what the Scots; Brits & Portuguese are already doing. Portuguese taverns must be doing a roaring trade; taxes from which pay for further research, development and investment.

In EFT we have surrogate tapping therapy, where we would get Huffington Post and other stories of the credit storm; tap on the conflicts of the participants and lead them to greener solutions to the winds and floods. NOW!

¡ S I A ~ NOW !

And the fallback position does remain to let the express continue towards the cliff. Great enough tragedy leading to eventual wisdom...
