My favorite activities on the Consciousness Cruise were Dr. Lo's lecture, workshop and the daily Qi Gong exercises.

I'm interested in hearing about the experiences people had with Dr. Lo's material. Did anyone participate in his experiment with the Meridian Water?

thanks,
Angela

Hi Angela,

Mill and I enjoyed meeting you on the cruise.

I am sorry to say that immediately after drinking the second glass of meridian water I began to feel something strange happening in my stomach together with a generally loggy feeling which was similar in some ways to how I feel soon after eating too many carbohydrates without a balancing amount of protein. I reported it to the attendant who just kind of shrugged without any comment. Later I experienced symptoms which could be likened to Montezuma's Revenge which lasted throughout the balance of the cruise (could the two have been synchronous?). It was my first sickness in almost twelve years.

Ironically, I presented my workshop on "Integral Noetic Options for Healthful Aging" on the fifth day of the cruise to a wonderfully empathetic and understanding group of participants.

As to the 'before and after' infrared photos, the attendant gave me an unofficial observation saying there was "not enough change to be concerned about." That fact may be attributable to and perhaps even confirmation of the effectiveness of my Integral Noetic Healthful Aging Practice since February 27, 1997. . . perhaps especially significant since my father and both grandfathers died of of various and sundry kinds of cancer before age seventy five. My chrono-age is 79, my estimated biological health age 67 (according to biological health age physicians and researchers Oz and Roizden), and psychospiritually I am ageless.

Yours with integral self, social, and ecosystem health and joy,

Bob

Hello Bob,

It was a pleasure meeting you and Millie : )

Sorry to hear of your experience...perhaps I should be grateful that I wasn't part of the experiment!

There were so many wonderful workshops offered on the cruise - I would have liked to attend yours. Will you be giving it at the Conference in Tucson?

You do seem much younger than 79!! What you're doing is obviously working.

peace,
Angela

Hello Angela,

Thanks for the idea of giving my integral healthful aging workshop during the IONS conference in Tucson. To whom should I send my proposal?

With integral empathy, health, and joy!

Hi, Angela. I participated, and from a quick uninformed look at my results on the screen, I didn't have much change after drinking the Meridian water. Two possible explanations.

One -- maybe I was a "control" and was given ordinary water to drink?
Two -- I've studied medical qigong for several years with another qigong Master, Hong Liu, in Honolulu. That may effect how my body reacts to the Meridian water?

Anyway, I was glad to be able to contribute as a subject, and hope that Dr. Lo's research leads to a positive outcome. We need all the positive outcomes we can muster. ;)

Cheers,
Don

Hi Don,

Thanks for sharing your experience. It would be interesting to find out if you were a 'control' subject or if your past QiGong experience has balanced you so much the Meridian water didn't have an effect!

It was great meeting you on the cruise.

peace,
Angela
