In declare, you can share who you are and what you are thinking about. Our blog feature allows you to declare your thoughts, intentions, recommendations, visualizations, and dreams. A special feature of Shift in Action blogging is that you can connect your blog entry with other items on the site. Simply look for the little red icon at the lower right of most pieces of content. If you click on it, you will be able to make a blog entry about that content, which then appears on your personal profile page.

Your personal profile page is where you define yourself in relationship to the IONS community, helping us to understand who you are, what you are passionate about, and what kind of world you want to create. You can do so in a straightforward manner with your bio, interests, and pictures, as well as more playfully by choosing psychospiritual types that accurately describe you.

IONS studies have demonstrated the ability of our consciousness to affect others at a distance. That’s why we also invite members to declare your intentions – it’s a way of linking our minds collectively and, in some subtle way, positively influencing world events. Recent research, for example, has demonstrated the power of visualization in healing physical sickness, which leads naturally to experimentation with this process on the collective level, focusing on challenges to our collective "body."

What sort of world do you want to create? What shifts will create healthier societies? What is your core mission? Declaring our intentions with our community can amplify our ability to create positive shifts. Try it and find out for yourself.

After 2+ years as a member in Ions I am just getting around to participating on this site. Love the whole blog/posting/capture feature.
I look forward to connecting with the great minds and hearts found here.
Thanks for your work and inviting us to participate.

I liked how you explained that Stephen. In looking through active partners, I noticed that many are in Calif. which is expected. Those of us in other areas sometimes have to be very creative in connectiong with like-minds. I also noticed that when I look at the profiles of people in my State, many aren't filled out and I've yet to find one that has the Private Message option turned on.

Admittedly, I'm just getting around to it also. But I've observed that the steps of how to build your profile aren't always apparent in these cyber environments, and technology comes with its own intimidation. Bottom-line is that I find it difficult to say "hi" to someone in my area.

Is there a way that periodic emails could be sent to members coaching them on the specific steps and encouraging that they build their profiles?
