We got some energy going on the Dec. 2 call thanks to all the ideas and offerings of what is happening out in the Network.I hope each of you will send your successful events and ideas that are working to the new Community Group Happenings page in the green Meet section. It is just now getting going so be in on the first issue. Send a short write up to the Happenings Coordinator, John Odgen, at blueheron2@twcny.rr.com. Talking in this Forum is a great way to chat back and forth about how the event was staged and all the nitty gritty of doing it. This kind of help makes it so much easier for others to do it too. Might as well build on a good thing! As more and more connection and communication start to happen, the dynamic of the Network will grow.

Shift in Action - Having fun creating paradigm shifts in our lives.

To many people, the election of president-elect Barach Obama indicated a major shift in consciousness by the American people and has inspired millions around the world to want to actively contribute to the long dreamt-for paradigm shift in understanding which could lead to peace and well-being in our societies. We propose having a series of discussions in our IONS Community Group about having fun creating paradigm shifts in our individual lives. We would appreciate receiving comments and suggestions about this proposal.

Have you heard of the book, "Punk Science" by Dr Manjir Samanta-Laughton? The author quotes kryon, and also mentions the indigo book. It feels like it could have been channeled by kryon.

The author uses famous biology and physics experiments to prove that there is consciousness in every atom. She then presents her theory of everything based on the principles of black holes.

It is a place where you can share what you are doing as peers both in program and in process, share best practices, ask questions of one another, and offer answers to harvest the collective wisdom. Here, you can probe what is or is not working for you in your role as a way to move toward a healthier, happier experience. These Forums can be a place for heartfelt expressions of personal commiserations on what is working or frustrating for you in the role. Mostly, it is a way for you all to get to know one another better, and strengthen the collective heart-mind field of the Community Group Network.

“Reality is an illusion. Only illusion is real.” Don Quixote

You “see” the sun rise in the morning and the sun set at night, and it usually is a very pleasant experience. But actually, in reality, the sun never rises and never sets. Your view is an illusion --- “an erroneous perception of reality.” Seeing the sun set is a user-friendly, enjoyable experience and not a harmful erroneous perception. Furthermore, it isn’t very romantic, or understandable, to say “We went to the beach last night to watch the earth spinning on its tilted axis while rotating around the sun.”

You can read about his exploits at www.stevefossett.com. You can also see details of the initial search that was conducted to try and locate him and his plane.

Have you added paravisual to your repertoire of paranormal options? To those yet to have a paravisual experience it may be of interest that I had my first such experience, not in a corporate business teambuilding setting as I described in a recent blog (cited later), but in a leading-edge group psychic healing workshop. It was designed and led by renowned research and clinical psychologist Lawrence LeShan and held after the 1970 Association for Humanistic Psychology conference in Miami on the secluded spacious Eden-like estate of Margaret Adams (daughter of Colonel Sanders).

All the rumble in the election is about change. Barak Obama surfaced as the only choice Americans have to enable this change in Washington. But this is only a portion of the shift occurring. Obama, upon arrival, will be greeted by the same system George Bush thrived in. It is a tough one. Whatever intentions he arrives with better by firm.

You may remember in the IONS 2008 Shift Report (page 61) there is an account of some intriguing research done in collaboration with the Dalai Lama and the neuroscientists with the Mind and Life Institute. One example is the discovery by neuroscientist Richard Davidson, University of Wisconsin-Madison, that a much higher level of gamma rays was found in the brains of experienced meditators than in inexperienced. Just yesterday, August 26, 2008, NASA anounced its newest space telescope, formerly known as GLAST, has passed its orbital checkout with flying colors, kicking off a mission to explore the violent and unpredictable gamma ray universe. I'm sure you see the picture. Perhaps there is no relationship between gamma rays found in space and the gamma signals found in meditators, but then again maybe there is. Anyway, if this interests you here's a heads up for possible unfolding developments.

Folks, the hippies in the 70s trying to catch your "vibe" may have been on to something! Science has known for years that atoms, at our atomic structure level - vibrates. Okay, this is quantum physics stuff but at the quantum layer of things we know this about ourselves and all the physical everything. It is a fact.

Heal the Hurricanes or Cyklones
The way we will do, is to pretend you have the planet infront of you and it have the size of an Soccer-ball, locate the hurricane, it has the size of walnut, so it is very easy to slow it down ,right? Imagine a powerball, a ball of energy and light or a Holomatricof love encapsulate the hurricane, now take a deep breath and when you exhale you activate the poweball ,the ball of energy and light or the holomatrix of love so it rotate clockwise, the opposite way as the hurricane which rotate counter clockwise .

My dear and lovely new friend is on Padre Island and the news is claiming that a 95 mile an hour hurricane is headed for the island and will hit at noon today. Michelle, the weather looks fierce and my hopes and prayers are with you. I hope I am mistaken as to your whereabouts. If I am right about the location, I hope you left the Island as they are now saying it is impossible to get to the mainland until the winds subside to 45 miles per hour. The brain is amazing as daVinci points out, and I believe the mind, whatever it is, is even more so. To paraphrase what someone once said about the brain, If the mind were simple enough to understand, we would be too simple to understand it.

It is obvious to us all that the real power on this earth lies with those who control the energy. Politicians and the media spread the word about renewable energies like solar and wind power but this only addresses a fraction of demand. There is a better way...a much better way.

Hi All,
Please take a look at www.watertogas.com, especially the U-Tube part. I would create a link to the U-Tube, but I don't know how. Two gentlemen have created a simple add on to a car engine that increases mileage and decreases air pollution. It would be great if the scientific/mechanical type people out there would let us know what you think.

"... Globalisation for the Common Good mission is to promote ethical, moral and spiritual values into the areas of economics, commerce, trade and international relations amongst others, as well as personal virtues, to advance understanding and action on major global issues by civil society, the private enterprise, the public sector, governments, and national and international institutions, leading to the promotion of collaborative policy solutions to the challenges posed by globalisation. We are committed to the idea that the marketplace is not just an economic sphere, ‘it is a region of the human spirit’. Whilst considering the many economic questions and issues we should also reflect on the Divine dimension of life, and should, in contrast to what is practised today, be concerned with the world of heart and spirit. We view the problem and challenge of globalisation not only from an economic point of view, but also from ethical, spiritual and theological perspectives. ..."

"Deep within our subconscious all of us harbor biases that we consciously abhor. And the worst part," says Scientific American Mind author Siri Carpenter, "WE ACT ON THEM." She quotes Jesse Jackson who once told an audience, "There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery -- then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved."

“It started suddenly with an uncontrollable jerk as I sat on a straight backed chair in a small rustic cottage in Rio Caliente Resort. Then came a loud inner roar like the sound of water rushing, followed by the searing image in my mind’s eye of hot white light shooting up my spine, through my brain and out the top of my head. The force was so strong that my head flew backward as my arms flung upward, fingers splayed and palms raised to the heavens. Accompanied by a strong, hot dry wind the light drew me up and ou
