ConverZations that Matter: Frontiers of Race, Cosmology, and Consciousness brings consciousness studies down to earth, making them real and relevant for everyday life, looking especially at questions of race, cosmology and consciousness.

Host Belvie Rooks explores the full spectrum, from street realities to cosmic visions of human potential, with guests committed to harnessing frontier science and philosophy in the service of healing.

Belvie is an IONS board member and executive producer of Watts Up!, an IONS-sponsored documentary about 17-year-old Demaria Perry's journey from Watts, California to the Quest for Global Healing Conference in Bali. The conversations that Demaria shared with such visionaries as IONS founder Edgar Mitchell and Archbishop Desmond Tutu in Bali during filming inspired the ConverZations that Matter series.

Quest for Global Healing

The Quest for Global Healing channel explores how to deal with wounds created by conflict, collective trauma and large-scale oppression. We highlight areas of collective experience which remain unresolved, neglected, and repressed within the psyche of groups and even nations.

Our focus is on consciousness rather than politics per se; global healing is psycho-spiritual in nature and only activist in its consequences. The primary modalities for this work are truth, reconciliation, forgiveness and restorative justice.

This vital and emerging field of inquiry empowers us to dialogue with history - and history in the making – and not simply experience it as a series of externalized events or enactments that are beyond our reach. Join us in engaging some of the most amazing social healers of our time.

Radical Spirit

The Radical Spirit channel explores the meeting point between consciousness and societal change, highlighting leaders who exemplify spiritual depth and passionate engagement in public processes, as well as offering practical steps to engage change work in life-enhancing ways.

We are especially focused on bridging between different evolutionary movements such as spiritual practice and political change. Our preference is to look at the leading edge – how is a more integral version of spiritual activism emerging in a next generation of leaders? How are these leaders engaging the public sphere?

The Shift Report

Explore the frontiers of the Global Shift with Host Matthew Gilbert.

The evidence is compelling that the arc of modern human existence is going through a difficult and uncertain transition, driven by breakdowns in old worldviews and the emergence of new ones. Foundational changes are occurring across a wide spectrum of industries and fields of study, from medicine and business to education and politics. Many of these shifts were captured in the Institute’s acclaimed reports, The 2007 Shift Report: Evidence of a World Transforming and The 2008 Shift Report: Changing the Story of Our Future. Each one described how the assumptions we make about who we are and how reality works drive the choices we make, individually as well as collectively. Those assumptions are now changing, sparked by the intersection of new scientific research and the re-emergence of ancient wisdom.

In this series we dialogue with a variety of voices at the leading edge of these foundational changes, who discuss how we are just beginning to tap into our potential as human beings despite, or perhaps because of, the multiple crises that we are facing. Transformation in Action

Cassandra Vieten, the Transformation Channel explores the mystery and science of transformation with recognized experts and pioneers.

Transformation is an irreversible shift in how you experience and interpret yourself and the world around you. Often, it begins with deconstruction of old beliefs, old patterns, and outdated worldviews. This is followed by a reintegration in which new parts of you are discovered, and false selves fall away. It's a process that is ongoing, leading to increasingly broader perspectives.

The Institute of Noetic Sciences has been studying these kinds of shifts since the life-changing vision of Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut, on his way back to earth from the moon. How do they happen? What conditions foster such transformations? What are their outcomes? And how can we integrate our transformations into day-to-day changes in ourselves, our communities, and our world?

We invite you to participate in these calls by bringing your own transformative vision forward, along with the tools you've found useful and the strategies to surmount difficulties. Our goal in this series is for all of us to find and express our most authentic self, one that is aligned with our greatest worldly service.

Workplace Revolution

The Workplace Revolution channel interviews a wide range of business leaders, change agents, and visionaries who believe in the potential of business to be a force for good in the world, but who also are aware of the challenges.
