Mother's Day Proclamation by Julia Ward Howe
In 1870 Julia Ward Howe was the first to proclaim Mother's Day, with her Mother's Day Proclamation [for peace]:
Arise, then, women of this day!
Arise all women who have hearts, whether your baptism be that of water or of fears!
Cosmic Cycles, Astrology, Oneness & Healthful Freedom
Thank you, Lori, for your energetic and interesting interpretation of what you see as "The Modern View of Astrology and the Devaluation of Ancient Wisdom." Back in the 60s I was one of those intrigued by ancient astrology and immersed myself in its study. One of the first things I discovered was at one time astrologers believed in a ten house Zodiac. Later, a twelve house Zodiac, and most recently, a fourteen house Zodiac (the newly discovered thirteenth and fourteenth houses being Ophicus the serpent handler and Cetus the whale). Under the twelve house Zodiac I was typed a Scorpio and under the fourteenth a Libra. I found that change significantly bolixed up my identification, creating brain cramps galore. Which was I, Scorpio or Libra? There was no objective criterion for clearly making the distinction.
Let’s seize nature and beam as waves
When I received this newsletter today from Dr. Mercola I had such a great laugh in a good way at him, my self and people as him?
So what’s so funny?
Well his article so clearly reminded and showed me how all of us at some point react and function, and how it may appear to others such as my self when we hold our view in a firm grip, or maybe when it holds us in the grip?!
Two Directions
There are two directions that I can look in: outside and inside. And there's me standing in the middle. Outside is everything that's not me, everything I see: you and my home and this computer and everything on the evening news. I'm in the middle: my body and my thoughts, memories, emotions, hopes and fears inspirations desires and my whole shebang.
And then there's the area I learned about from my teacher: within me.
A Scattering of Doves
Coming upon sunset, folks; Mountain Daylight Time - olde Chicago tune playing on XM Satellite radio "My Hour in the Shower" - hmmmmm, back in '68 there mighta been a feelin' like a true need for an hour long shower. Forty years? Right now it is right next door, along with copious proclaimin', big and strong, delivered from atop a standing stone. A young quail, we call him Dan.
My sweetheart's in the shower, as we speak, and I am watching the long shadows upon the desert floor.
Can watery substances create interference patterns with fifth dimension?!
Today I read a fascinating article-blog written by Dr Emoto while I thought about what an inspiring mixture to combine water and interactions with the fifth dimensions in the ways he did.
Words and insights such as these bring forth more than maybe our eyes are capable of perceiving today and who knows what ‘holistic images some of us may have brought from the fifth dimension without knowing that we did or in what linear time they do belong... :)
The One Single Universal Question ... & Carl Jung's Wierd Mind
The One Single Universal Question --- that has been controlling my mind!
Something very strange is going on.
Four days ago it was my birthday. Four days ago was Friday. Four days ago a book was dropped off by the postman at my friend, Dr. Cramer’s office. That was all the same day. My friend opened it … looked it over for a few minutes and thought “Now this is something Larry would like to see.”
"American Beauty"
With regard to my theory one wonderfully emotional reference can be found in the great movie American Beauty. Although none of the science or neurology is referenced the ending is a simply wonderful visual, musical and verbal evocation of everything I suggest in ITLAD. This is yet again support to my suggestion that ITLAD is simply part of a wider cultural phenomenon engineered for some ulterior purpose by the weltgeist.
"Vallande Ouders" by A.F.T. van der Heijden
In this Dutch novel two characters, Albert and Thjum break into an empty hotel late at night. As they do so they both experience a simultaneous deja vu:
"Wait a second, wait a second ... standing here loke this with a flight of stairs going down and a flight of stairs going up ... and after that a couple of boys go looking through a cupboard, pull the drawers open ... it's all so familiar.'
