Educational Opportunities in the noetic sciences
We are off and running in 2010. The Institute of Noetic Sciences is embracing the new decade with enthusiasm and a commitment to engage our global community in our research, educational programs and community outreach and engagement programs. In the coming year, we will launch a new interactive website, embark on a global outreach program and world tour, create an online store, offer a set of distance learning educational programs and continuing to deepen our cutting edge research.
Aging: Erosion by the neutrino torrent?
I have had a lot of OBEs but my IBEs have been just as instructional. IBEs are “In Body Experiences” resulting from meditation, sometimes chemically enhanced.
I was thinking about the four known forces in nature: 1) Electromagnetic (all forms of light from radio, microwave, radiant heat, visible light, ultraviolet, x-ray, gamma ray) 2) Gravitation 3) Strong nuclear 4) weak nuclear. I was trying to classify what forces might be in play in my Human Laser and Cone of Attention observations when I remembered an IBE where I was tuning into a dimension or psychic level where I had to really struggle to hold on and not be swept away.
Dr. Strangelove was right!
I my "Share" Kundalini and the Human Laser I was asked about the role of the Pineal Gland.
The Pineal probably modulates the beam created in the cerebral spinal fluid space. The beam I observed was in the visible frequency range but remember Nitrogen has many possible transition states so the system must be working at many levels. The extreme stimulation I induced is not necessary for it to work in normal consciousness. We all may be lasing at subtler levels and this could explain the “sense of being stared at” proven by Sheldrake. The phenomenon may even affect our ability to “connect” and feel Empathy. Hyperbaric chambers are currently mysteriously being used to treat Autism.
What would happen to a society that replaced or screwed up its natural Calcium photonic crystals in the Pineal with say Fluoride? Maybe Dr. Strangelove was on to something.

Near Death Revisited
I follow the lead of Sandstone in announcing the anniversary of my first NDE. It has now been 9497 days since the accident and the subsequent celestial journey occurred. To calculate the day count I used the widget Peter Russell provides on his website, which is dedicated to providing a count of "Your age in day". It's a perspective thing, no?

The latest teleseminar series has been fun, focussed on his latest book. I have probably seen The DaVinci Code movie over 5 times and still am not bored with it.Dan can tell a great story!
