Our life and work find their joy, meaning, and purpose to the degree that we hear the call to create. This workshop offers practices to live out “the call” as we encounter the necessities and possibilities that meet us, moment-to-moment, on the river of life. When approached skillfully and imaginatively, both personal and professional relationships can be a context for creative collaboration. This course is an introduction to experiential practices which serve to develop the skills and capacities required to respond creatively to the complexities, uncertainties, and trials of our time.

The dynamics of power and intimacy entailed in women’s relationships are of primary concern in the psychotherapy of women. Drawing on the work of key theorists in the field of psychology of women, this course offers ways to work with women on issues of identity, victimization, and compulsivity in the context of relationship and psychotherapy.
